Increase Windows Server 2008 upload speed

try open a command prompt and cut an paste this:

“netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled”

you don’t need to reboot, just do your tests, maybe autotuning is screwing up with ye.

if it makes not difference, re-enable autotuning

“netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=enabled”

you might want to try something else too in case the above mentioned trick don’t work…

start, run, type REGEDIT and open it, then find this

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\services\A FD\Parameters

create a new dword 32bit string in Parameters and name it “DefaultSendWindow”

then double click it, choose Decimal and type this number 1640960

exit regedit, reboot pc and try uploading something
